At this point you have already received, or will be receiving, solicitations from attorneys, real estate brokers and loan modification companies, all claiming that they may be able to help you. It is all very stressful and confusing if you have never been through this before.
If you’re facing a summary judgment or trial, do not give up. Do not settle. Many times, our “last minute” efforts have stopped the bank from taking a home. Don’t settle for an extended sale date, avoid a small cash for keys payment. Let us both fight for your home, we’ll fight the summary judgment, and if needed, we’ll try your case. We’ve won many summary judgments and trials.
About Meeting For The First Time
Your first meeting with one of our lawyers is referred to as an initial interview, or consultation. It’s important for you to share the whole story, so we can give you the answers you’re seeking. You’ll have questions for us, and we for you, so drop by the office or give us a call.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Your first consultation is free.
How Long Will The Meeting Last?
There is no time limit. We will meet for as long as it takes to assess your situation, answer questions, and discuss the options available to you.
When should I call?
We are here to help you at your convenience. You may call even if you just want a consultation to gather information about your situation. If you have been served with papers please call immediately.
At Herman Law Group, we value our clients and treat you the same way we would want to be treated if we were in your shoes. Our consultations generally start between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., although we do accommodate earlier/later requests whenever possible.
We are here to help you.
It is our practice to send copies of all incoming and outgoing correspondence to you by e-mail. For your monthly statements, we can email or send them via US mail; we expect you to review them upon receipt and let us know of any questions. Keeping each other informed and keeping the lines of communication open is key to effective representation.
Working With Us
Your monthly payment will be $450.00 or less depending on your individual circumstances. Litigation costs, if any, would be your responsibility, however such costs are usually minimal, and we will not incur any costs to you without your prior approval.
There are no up-front fees and you may cancel at any time; you simply start with the first monthly payment. Under our monthly payment program we have an incentive to fight to keep you in your home as long as possible. You may be able to stay in your home for years.
Defending your foreclosure costs far less than today’s high monthly rents, also, the longer you fight, the more time you may gain to take advantage of new and possibly better modification programs.
